Lions Club of Maroochy North Shore Celebrates Australia Day

On Australia Day each year the Maroochy North Shore Lions Club begin celebrations with a "Bush Poet's Breakfast", usually held at the North Shore Community Centre Mudjimba. The morning begins with a delicious BBQ breakfast of bacon and egg burgers, followed by orange juice, tea, coffee and damper all for the cost of a gold coin donation. Entertainment has been provided by, amongst others, "The Hot Ginger Chorus" singing Australian songs and Bush Poet "Bazza"(pictured) delivering dramatic recitals of much loved Bush Ballads. This is one way in which the Lions Club can repay the local Community for all their support.
